The
library program is an integral part of every student's education at Los
Lunas Elementary School. Through collaborative planning and teaching,
we can stimulate students to become active and independent learners.
Library instruction supports the curriculum and develops initiative,
critical thinking, and self-reliance. Classes have access to the library
through scheduled weekly visits, flexible scheduling, during class,
during breaks, and before and after school hours. Library staff assists
teachers and students to develop information literacy skills,as well as a love for books.
